Description

Top Op Kokum Black, dried Black Wild Mangosteen. It has a sour taste with a faintly sweet aroma. Used mainly in Maharashtrian, Gujarati and Konkan cuisines. When added to food it imparts a pink to purple colour and a sweet/sour taste. It is a preferred substitute for tamarind in curries and other dishes.
