INDIAN ALPHONSO MANGOES (12’S)

Indian Alphonso Mango,  is a seasonal fruit harvested from mid-April through the end of June. The time from flowering to harvest is about 90 days, while the time from harvest to ripening is about 15 days. The fruits generally weigh between 150 and 300 grams (5.3 and 10.6 oz), have a rich, creamy, tender texture and delicate, non-fibrous, juicy pulp. As the fruit matures, the skin of an Alphonso mango turns golden-yellow with a tinge of red across the top of the fruit.

Ideally can be eaten as a whole fruit cut into chunks or  may be enjoyed as a lassi, sorbet, ice cream, mousse or puree.

NOTE:

Please note we carefully select and inspect all of our mangoes imported in from India on daily basis for bruises, blemishes and quality. Unfortunately we can not inspect the in side of each mango. Therefore we are not able to issue any refunds for any blemishes found in the inside of the mangoes.

Any problems with delivery of fresh fruit and vegetable produce must be reported immediately within 24 hours, by email to sales@tajstores.co.uk quoting your order reference number. Any refunds or replacements will not be issued if not reported on time.
