The United Kingdom was one of the first countries where Ferns’ sold its pickles, pastes and chutneys outside India. This was to be expected, after Mrs. N. Fernandes, founder & owner of Ferns’ thought it prudent to follow her most loyal clients to their homeland after the British and their pickle, chutney & curry loving solders left the garrison town of Pune, where Mrs. N. Fernandes pickled her first batch of raw mangoes in the year 1937.

Ferns Tandoori Paste, a spicy marinade for meats and vegetables to be grilled or barbequed. It gets its name from the traditional ‘tandoor’ or clay oven.
