Description
The United Kingdom was one of the first countries where Ferns’ sold its pickles, pastes and chutneys outside India. This was to be expected, after Mrs. N. Fernandes, founder & owner of Ferns’ thought it prudent to follow her most loyal clients to their homeland after the British and their pickle, chutney & curry loving solders left the garrison town of Pune, where Mrs. N. Fernandes pickled her first batch of raw mangoes in the year 1937.
Ferns Madras Paste, Use it to impart a strong flavour and colour to vegetarian as well as meat preparations. Also used to give soups a sprightly flavour.
